How to create a new recovery key?
Improve your account security with a recovery key. A recovery key allows you to access your wallet even if you lose access to your main authentication method. Using a recovery key is a great way to secure your account.
If you lose your recovery key or suspect that someone else knows it, you can always create a new one and your old key will be deleted.
Here is how to create a recovery key from scratch:
Navigate to Settings by clicking on your wallet address found at the top of the page.
Click on Account Recovery
Set up your recovery key by clicking Create New Recovery Key
Go through the setup flow, and make sure your recovery key is stored securely. Ideally you should store it in an encrypted store.
Once your recovery key is setup, you can use it to recover your account from sequence.app by clicking on More Options > Account Recovery
