How can I delete my Sequence wallet?

Sequence is a self-custodial, decentralized blockchain wallet. For that reason, we don't store any information about your wallet other than the on-chain, public information that's already available in the ledger. The only exception to this is your contacts list. You can wipe your stored contacts by following the steps outlined here.

If you do not wish to continue using your Sequence wallet, abandoning the account serves the same purpose. However before doing so, we recommend that you follow the steps below to ensure all of your local and remote data is cleared:

Make sure all of your assets are transferred to another self-custodial wallet such as Metamask
Wipe your stored contacts list by following the steps outlined in this article.
Sign out of all other sessions that might still be active. You can follow the steps here to remove all active sessions.
Create and store a recovery key. This way, even if you lose access to your authentication method, you can recover your wallet at a later date. You can read more about how to setup and use recovery keys here.
Sign out of your current active session. You can do this by navigating to Settings > Sign Out.

Once you complete these steps all of your information will be removed from Sequence infrastructure, excluding public blockchain information.
