What is my public address?

A public address is the unique identifier that serves as a virtual location for your wallet; in Ethereum-compatible networks it carries a 0x... format.

It’s helpful to think of it like your bank account number. The public address is what you share with someone who wants to send you crypto, NFTs, collectibles or other Ethereum-compatible digital assets.

Public address can also be a legible word like 0xsequence.eth or vitalik.eth, a registered ENS (Ethereum Name Service). The Sequence Wallet currently supports ENS readability.

You can find your Sequence Wallet address under the account name (in the format 0x....).

Every blockchain transaction is public; you can always check by searching a transaction hash or a public address in the different blockchain scanners like etherscan, polygonscan or bscscan.
